Samsung Galaxy Tab

Anyone have one? I was planning on purchasing an iPad soon, but when at the Verizon store yesterday, spent some time looking at the Galaxy. I really liked it - but I'm an Android user of 1.5 years.

Yes, I have one of the Samsung Galaxy series phones -- it's a Samsung Captivate w/ AT&T. I like it a lot.

Ok, I don't know if you've see any of the coverage of CES, but there's a LOT of new Android tablets coming out very shortly which will probably be much better than that one.

I think its better to wait a month or so and see what's available (which is what I'm doing).

The Nook Color can do the same things the Galaxy tab can do at less than 1/2 the price. So I say get a Nook Color. It's an android tablet that is simple to hack to get all of the android apps. Save your money.

hey i was just wondering a friend of mine told me about the samsung galaxy tab and said that in the US you can get one for about $140 was just wondering if this is true or not??

I ordered one from HSN, and it just arrived, so I can't wait to try it out. I paid $549.90 and you can get a $250 Visa gift card, if I use Sprint for 3G. I believe you can't get the card if you don't choose 3G. I would have loved to pay $140, but I haven't seen that deal around anywhere.
