same length of stay?

If we book to rooms using a free dining code, do both rooms have to be for the same length of stay? Or can one room check out a few days before the other?

We have a trip already booked for Dec 13-20 with a free dining code. If we call and book another room with the code for a family member, do they have to stay until the 20th, or can they check out earlier?

We just did this and had no problem. My friend got a free dining code. We are going at the same time but they are staying one day later. She had no problem using the code on our room even though we were leaving earlier.

Thanks for the quick reply. I want to make sure I have my info right before I call wdw and try adding the second room to our reservation.
