Hello older Mouseketeers,
As a kid in 1960 seeing "Swiss Family Robinson" I couldnt wait to get to Disney Land (at that time) to see and walk through the treehouse. Now in my adult years I have had the pleasure of meeting Tommy Kirk, and Kevin Corcoran at film conventions I have attended. But my goal before I leave this world is to go to the island of Tobago where the film was shot and visit all the locations the scenes were filmed. Tommy and Kevin told me that the actual treehouse was left there and used as a tourist attraction until a hurricane destroyed it some years ago. I confess that this film is my ALL TIME favorite of ANY film. Hope you all dont think Im that crazy.
Danny
