Same Day FP+ with Allotment Already Booked for Future Days

If I've booked FP+ for my number of ticket-days already, can I book FP+ on a day I enter the park without affecting the ones I've already booked for the future days?

I have a 10-day visit but only have 5-day ticket which I will upgrade after entering the park for our first day. I guess I can go to guest services 1st thing after entering and there should be no worries but I'd like to book FP's as soon as I can for the my first day. The pre-booked FP's will be in conjunction with other guests who will arrive three days later so I will not pre-book 60 days out for our first couple of days.

Any suggestions?

You can do that.

If you want to book FPs as soon as you enter and before you get to Guest Relations, book the FPs at a kiosk. If you book at a kiosk, the system won't ask you to cancel a day of FPs.

If you try to book through MDE, the system will ask you to cancel a day of pre-booked FPs if you don't add on the additional ticket entitlements first.
