Samantha Brown (travel channel) on tonight 9pm

Samantha Brown (our favorite travel hostess ) is going on her very first cruise and it will be broadcast tonight at 9 pm EST on the Travel Channel.

She will be on a RCCL voyager class Brilliance of the Seas.

Should be fun!

We love Samantha Brown and the "Great Hotels" shows. I can't wait to watch this show. I hope they make a new series "Great Cruises", and then she'll have to go on the Disney Cruise!

I notice that they seem to be showing re-runs. Is that why? She isn't doing 'Great Hotels' any more????

Maybe we could deluge the travel channel with emails demanding Samantha to keep visiting hotels! We just love her. Some say she is too perky. We just think she is a hoot. Did anyone catch her visiting the Hotel Hershey? Now she is a choc-a-holic!

Anyway, I enjoyed the show. Looks like she loved the Ports...definately concentrated on them more than on the ship. I really wish DCL could transition a ship to Europe for one summer! I would book the moment the sail dates were released!

I'm going on the Brilliance in Jan so was excited to see the show. Wish they would have shown a little more of the ship though it did look beautiful from what I could see!

The Brilliance of the Seas is a RADIANCE CLASS ship, not a Voyager class. I love the Radiance class of ships because of all the glass and the views they give you from inside the ship I haven't been on a Radiance class ship yet, but I love it from all the pictures and video that I've seen. We'll be cruising on the Voyager of the Seas in June, and I can't wait

Great Hotels is still on, on the Travel Channel. I'm on the east coast and its on at 11am, 11:30am, 3pm, and 3:30pm currently. They play a lot of reruns, but once in a while they show a new one. I guess they didn't do a lot of new hotels when they started to plan to shoot for her cruise special.


vossjemi: I agree, I wish they would've shown a lot more of the ship, and less of the ports.

I loved watching the show last night. I think Sam is great and would be a hoot to just hang out with! I love the Brilliance of the Seas and hope to do a transatlantic on her although DH is more open to the Mediterranean cruise after watching last night!!
