Oh my gosh! that is so horrible! I'm sorry for you and baby Link. Is there anything that the people you bought him from can do? A lot of breeders give a 1 year health guarantee, if they sold you a sick cat they are liable.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your cat! I can completely understand how upset you are. I have three cats, and I love them more than anything, and would also be very upset. I hope there is a way you can put it in the back of your mind and enjoy your PS, and remember, at least someone is home with your baby! I'm sending tons of positive thoughts to you and Link.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I'm reporting live from Disney through my iPhone so excuse me if this is brief.

Had the planning session with carol and she is awesome. Just so sweet. We talked transportation, timeline the ins and outs etc. Laura talked floral with me and we had some great ideas. I'll fill everyone in later.

Tasting was today and yummy!! I think I may explode.

It is so hot and humid here. Heat index of 102. Yuck! I'm melting.

I miss mike and my Kitties terribly. We got the result from link and they are inconclusive. So he needs a cat scan(the irony) tomorrow. They think it's fip but the results aren't positive. So it could be a congenital lung issue because the fluid is on only 1 side and his lung didn't reinflate when the fluid was removed. If it is his lung they could perform surgery but even that may ruin his quality of life. But I'm hoping for the lung issue. Good news is if it is fip it is such a late phase it shouldn't be infectious for our other cats. Oh and Mike's 3 fish died today too. We are just having the luck. Hopefully the fish will pay the price and our baby link will survive

July has been a crazy month and the longer I waited, the more daunting rejoining the boards has been. Having a house means you have so much to do! Link made it through the surgery and there was a possibility he didn't have FIP, but 2 weeks ago, we took him to the vet for his check up and his belly was getting bigger. Fluid from the FIP was filling his abdomen, although his lungs looked great. Unfortunately, last Wednesday, Link was finished fighting and we had to put him to sleep. It's been really hard and devastating.

I want to write a trip report, and I will soon.

I am sorry to hear about Link. It sounds like you guys did all you could for the little guy. At least he is no longer in pain. It is hard to loose a pet, they are like family. I hope you do start a TR of your PS soon. I find in my experience that focusing on the happy always makes a sad situation a little better. Big to you!
