DAY TWO continued:

We didn't get our room at OKW until 5 PM and neither did my parents. So, we spent a total of 7 hours waiting for a room. Looking back I wish we had scheduled the steaming at a different time and just did stuff in the parks.

However, when we got the room we didn't mind the wait so much because they gave us an AMAZING view. We looked straight at the largest pond in front of the OKW light house, the bridge, one of the golf holes, and the trail. We LOVED our room:

I really cannot say enough good things about OKW. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, we loved the size of the rooms, and the speed of the bus system. We spent our first hour in our room getting all of our stuff in and getting ready for our Welcome Dinner reservation for Boma.

We got to Boma with my parents and Aunt at 7:15pm, but my sister and BIL were no where to be seen. I snuck down to the front desk to let them know that some of our party was running a little behind and to make sure that everything with my DH's groom's caked was fine. We kept waiting for my sis and BIL and then finally decided that we would go ahead and sit down. Just as we were entering the resturant my sis and BIL came up behind us. As soon as my DH saw the cake waiting for him on the table his face lit up and he was so surprised. There were people surrounding our table taking pictures of the cake because it was so detailed and unique. I couldn't have been happier with the money spent.

I asked this earlier but I dont think it ever got addressed... What type of room was that of which you stayed in? I was trying to look at rates of this room because its something DH would love next time we go.

Luvsmickey, that is just the crinoline that is built into the dress.

Maggie, sorry for the delay. That is a one bedroom villa at Old Key West and I don't know what the cash rate would be. We are DVC members so we stayed on points and YES we LOVED Randy he is the absolute BEST!!!

Yeah, Michael is just too cute. He was like a little kid for the whole trip.

Hun, you just knew we were going to end up seeing each other. I mean, we had to do the MK shoot and we are way to lazy to do it the day after and you know we aren't the most traditional people in the world

The ah hem...palmetto bug is just a nice way of saying cockroach. My sister said she was doing everything she possibly could not to back up. Thank God it scurried toward the pews instead of back under my dress. I did a lot of pics around the golf course at OKW so I'm guessing it hitched a ride on my crinoline and decided to make its appearance during the ceremony


About the grooms cake, whoever asked, yes I'm posting it on the cake thread today and thanks for the compliment

I saw you! I saw you at MK walking towards frontier land! I knew it was you, but I didnt want to run up and be wrong. I remember you from disneybrides. I havent been a member since I had to cancel our plans, but I was planning for the same day as you. I called to book Randy Chapman and STVS but they were already scheduled for the day. When I found out it was someone I was following on the disneybrides, I thought it was so funny. You looked so happy when I saw you. Congratualtions! Im glad everything went well.

Awww I hate it that I missed you! I would have loved to chat! Where in frontier land did you see us? Were we in a shop, watching the parade, or just headed in that direction? Was anyone with us when you got a glimpse and were we wearing those ears? We really did have a wonderful time...well except for the last couple of days. I ended up with a sinus infection and felt terrible and Michael wasn't feeling so hot either, but for the rest of the trip we had a blast!

I regret not stopping you and saying hi. I knew you would be there and kept an eye out through the parks. When I saw you, you guys were alone and walking toward the restaurant thats right before frontier land. In fact, I think you were pointing towards it as we were just walking out.

Yes I ordered that dress online and I'm guessing that you saw us go into Liberty Tree Tavern (if so that was out last day and I wasn't feeling great, but put on my good face ) If not there, then it might have been us grabbing lunch at Pecos Bill's, it was REALLY crowded that day, but still lots of fun.


Hun, you should come back to disney brides. I think that you just need to post once a week. I have so much fun talking to the girls
