Sailing today: can we get there before PAT and sit in the garage until our PTA?

They aren’t answering the phone at the port.

We want to go early since there is an air show at Coco beach. Can we get there and wait in the garage.

Normally you will be turned away before the garage. Honestly not sure if they would make an exception today but normally no, this is not permitted.

Not anymore... That was when they were testing, now you can drop luggage and park anytime. You just can't get into the terminal for check in until your PAT.

Had an 11:15 PAT this morning. Arrived at 10:00. Dropped off bags with a porter and waited for the parking garage to open. Opened around 10:15. Walked right over and they waved us straight into the terminal. Didn’t even look at our PAT.

The pay station was a machine when I used it in Sep 2021. No booth for a human, so I think that was not a Covid thing, just a modern change.

Now they usually have 1 or 2 attendants to expedite/help people with the machine.
