We are sailing on the EBPC out of San Diego on 8/26/16. I cannot find the name of the port or address of the terminal where we will catch the ship. I need to know so I know where we need to be that morning. We would be starting from Disneyland. Is it close to the port? Thanks very much for any help!!!

It is not close to Disneyland.

here is the info off of Google Maps. I live in the area and this is correct:
B Street Cruise Terminal
1140 N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101
portofsandiego.org
(619) 683-8966

If you aren't traveling in morning rush hour traffic or lunch hour traffic, it will take you about 2 hours from Disneyland to the terminal by car.
This is a very small cruise terminal and the street traffic can get very chaotic during boarding/unboarding.

Not sure of the southbound train schedules, but the train from Anaheim to San Diego is a great way to get to the port. It rides along the coast and the station is a long walk or short cab ride to the port.

As long as it's not a day that they are working on the tracks. We had planned to take the train from Anaheim to SD when we did the Baja cruise in Oct, and we would have had to take the train from Anaheim to Irvine (about a 20 minute trip) and the get on a bus for the remainder of the trip, due to track maintenance closing the tracks. We decided, if we had to ride a bus for 1 1/2 hours we could drive down ourselves easier.

We did take the train from SD to Anaheim, when we took our last Panama Canal cruise (not DCL). It's super easy.

I live in San Diego...I do not think I would plan on coming to San Diego the morning of my cruise, especially in September/October. You have to drive through Camp Pendelton on the 5 freeway to get there. It is prime fire season and it often catches on fire. They suspend both rail and vehicle traffic when this happens. If there is a wreck on the 5, it could take 5+ hours to get to San Diego. It took me 4 hours to get home last July from San Clemente, which is south of Disneyland. This was just traffic related. No fires.

In the event the freeway is closed, you could always go around on the 91 to the 15 to the 8, but really, that is stressful and not a situation I would want to be in. ESPECIALLY because that cruise is known for missing its Mexican ports. If you miss the ship, you may miss a solid chunk of the cruise. Its just not worth it. Hotels are cheap that time of year. Come down late the night before, wake up and get on board.

We did this three years ago. Flew into San Diego, rented a car, and drove two hours to DL. Two days later, drove back to SD, returned the rental car, and got a taxi to the port. It's about a 1 mile drive from the SD airport & rental car companies to the port. It was cheaper to fly in SD and drive to DL then to fly into LAX and do a one way car rental. Two hours is the optimal drive time, but a previous poster is right, traffic can be very busy, depending on the time of day and day of week.

We'll be on it too!!! Leave a minimum of 3 hours to make the drive south from Disney.

Listen to MunFam who lives there, along with the others saying to get there the day before...

I would NOT mess around with that drive on the day of sailing.

We sailed the EBPC this past October. We flew into SNA and stayed at Disneyland for 3 nights.
We took AMTRAK from Anaheim to San Diego the day before the cruise. The trip was 2 hours. We stayed at the
Wyndham Hotel directly across from the Broadway Pier. We could see the ship
from our hotel room.
