I am currently booked for a 7 night Bahamian Cruise (with a stop at Disney World...YAY).
We have been considering switching to the November 11th out of New York to avoid the Halloween decorations and enjoy the Christmas activities. However, we are concerned about sailing out of New York so late in the year. Does anyone have any experience or advice when it comes to New York cruises in November?

I've only cruised in the summer.

But NY in November can be COLD. And the water can be rough!!!

Personally, I would go for as close to summer as possible.

I agree with Alice - I would go for the warmer weather. We sailed on the Magic with the halloween decorations and they really are not over the top. The main lobby was decorated and a few other places, but it was not overwhelming. Are you sure the Christmas decorations would even be up in early November?
