Saga of the Queen of Resort Changes~Two TRs in One *COMPLETED*

What a fun afternoon!

So frustrating when you're trying to get somewhere & just seems like you keep getting delayed. But, I'm glad y'all made it to Poly & were able to meet up with Dani.

Did your DH enjoy the shrimp at CHH? I'm thinking that is what I'll get if we make it there.

It sounds like a perfect evening. Minus the bat. :scared1:
DH LOVED the Shrimp...kids wouldn't because we would have to cut the tails off.. they're high maint. kiddos...:lmao: Could've done without the bat...however after some wine....I wasn't quite as nervous ;)

See, I would have totally quit my job and sent for my daughter if they told me my reservation was for 53 days. :cool1::cool1::cool1:
I contemplated it :scratchin

too funny about the boat/bus mishap :rotfl: But you know whichever you would have chosen, something was bound to happen :confused3 Happens to me all the time...story of my life :rotfl: I cannot wait to see that Poly CL lounge :lovestruc

You will love the Hawaii building!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And luckily we DID have fun getting there....:)

A BAT?!?! :scared1: Oh me oh my....thank goodness for your darling DH!

Yeah, from WL boat to MK to Poly would have been easier...or even better, boat to CR then hop the resort monorail to Poly. :thumbsup2 Live and learn, right! ;) Next time you'll know all the WL short cuts! ::yes::

So glad you had some time with Dani...she sure is special (just like you).:goodvibes

Oh good! I'm so glad to hear he loved the shrimp! I could eat shrimp for every meal. Seriously! I think I was a flamingo in my former life. :rotfl2:

I would have needed a whole lot of wine to relax after the bat. :scared1:

Hi Jeanette! :wave2:

getting caught up with the TR. :) Loving all the pictures expecially the one of you and DH. :goodvibes

Wish I could of seen the look on the workers face in FL when he realized you understand spanish!! :rotfl2:

How fitting that Disney had you staying for 53 days!! :cool1: Does that quite reach the number of changes for this trip? :teeth:

So happy you and Dani got to spend together (and loved that you had an impromptu DIS meet at CP!) :yay: The picture of you two was fantastic! :cool1:

The bat thing would have freaked me out too!! yikes! the wine is indeed a good anxiety reliever ... :)

I'm a big shrimp lover too .... maybe I need to make time for CHH this trip ...

Hopefully I can follow along with you while in Disney ... I'm bringing the laptop! :)

:flower3:

 I am SO excited for YOUR trip...hmmm 53 changes...possibly

I have to do a new update, the longer it is the more I may forget :sad2:

DH is already saying he misses me and we need another trip ;)

CHH was yummy, but DH's FAVORITE was Pecos Bill :thumbsup2

Saturday Morning......Day 3

Epcot Day!!!!!!

DH and I BOTH woke up at 645am.....

Mind you, we are NOT early morning lovers, but this was WDW and we were well rested..

We hit the lounge, grabbed coffee and some muffins and planned out the day.

We had ADRs for WCC at 10am, what to do????? Cancel, try to get in early???

As we sat on the couch watching CNN, we were spotted by a fellow DISer...for those who frequent th WL thread, we met TheLodgeLady and her DH They were both great! We chatted for awhile and then they were off to the gym....DH and I decided to attempt WCC early

So we walked up and were seated immediately :yay:

The table next to us asked for ketchup and I thought DH was going to kill me with his stare....he said "We are NEVER coming here fo dinner" DH loves his Heinz, but hates attention

We both had the breakfast skillet, and it was pretty good, with a reasonable price IMHO....not to mention it was in the resort, but ALAS we won't return as my DH is a chicken...:rotfl2:

With full tummies we headed out to MK, take the bus???

NO WAY! The boat....the boat to MK and monorail to Epcot (yes I almost did the CR boat and doubled our travel time)

I LOVE the Epcot Monorail & how she tours the park!!! Plus unlike theMK monorail it was not crowded at all :thumbsup2

First Stop....Fastpasses for Soarin' ~return time 245-345

OK, now what...the Land...LOVE this ride, we got 1st row seats but we had 2 LOUD kiddos behind us so we decided to do the ride again later when we can hear the narration

*My plan for the end of the world is to live in that greenhouse, DH says many more will have the same idea, but it's OK because they will all be eaten by walkers*

Being my imagination is on overdrive, we did Figment!! LOVE FIGMENT (not DH, but it's OK) Figment always reminds me of calling CRO, because of the Imagination song.....:goodvibes

We went to The living Seas, an then Spaceship Earth....and then it was time for World Showcase....:yay:

Oh I love Epcot...it is our plan to tour Epcot alone while the kids are at the Neverland Club one night. And I also love the Land too! It just has a feeling...can't put it into words. Love the farmhouse scene. :goodvibes

Sounds like a great start to the day! :thumbsup2

I am hesitant to do WCC because of the antics. But, one day I'll brave it. :rotfl:

I like your plan to live in the greenhouse. But, now your idea is out there & we're all going to come join you. :rotfl:

Love Figment!! That's a big favorite of mine & Reid's. Tonight, we went out to a local restaurant for dinner. Reid decided that after he finished his pizza, it was the perfect time to sing the Imagination song.......at the top of his lungs. :sad2: Luckily, most of the tables around us had little kids so they didn't seem bothered by his performance. :lmao:

We have never done Living with the Land...hoping to ride it if time allows! Sounds like a fabulous Epcot day so far :goodvibes Can't wait to read about WS...my favorite part of Epcot!

I'm with DH on WCC - do not like any attention, just let me enjoy my meal without any antics, please. Same for Prime Time - really like the chicken (which also can be found at Trial's End), but spend the whole time hoping the server will leave us alone. LOVE Sci Fi and the feeling of being at a Hollwood Hills Drive-In.

What a EPCOT nice day you've had so far! Looking forward to WS! :)

:goodvibes WS while the kiddos are playing at Poly is PERFECTO Jen!!!!!!

Sounds like a great start to the day! :thumbsup2

Reid is great  And you and all our RC family can live in the greenhouse!!!:cloud9:

I just caught up, and it sounds like you had a lovely trip so far!
Thank you!!!! It was great, ALL of it!!!

Definitely try it !! It's right next to Soarin':thumbsup2

It's coming Christine....WS was great....we never made it ti Trails End...we went to FW but it wasn't opening for another hour or two so we ate at MK instead:)

World Showcase is one of my favorite parts of WDW. Of course that might be because we always go during the F&W festival!

So this was your go home day, right? Did you put your luggage with the bell hop?

We loved the food at WCC but the noise level between kids galloping around and all the clapping celebrations etc etc I would never make a special trip to WL to eat there unless we stay there again.

I love Figament too!

I came over from the WL thread to read your trip report! DH and I have stayed in one of the Honeymoon rooms at WL. I think it might be the same one you stayed in because our view looked like your view. I had to laugh when you talked about how hard it is to get into the tub. I'm 5'4' and it was so difficult to get in and out of that tub! We loved the Honeymoon room though, it was quiet and sitting on the balcony was so peaceful.

The bat would have had me running for my room.

Sounds like a good day except for the bus wait.

We have one more day to go..we left Sunday evening :)

:goodvibes You can hear the Happy Birthdays from the 7th floor :scared1:

Thanks for stopping by!!! My DH is 6'2" and couldn't believe what a pain the tub was....I love that there was only the 2 rooms at the end of the hall/ it wasn't until Day 2 I realized where the rest of the CL rooms were :lmao:

The bat would have had me running for my room.

I was a great day!!! And I said to DH...I am getting on the next bus I didn't care the destination....

Time to drink around the world :cool1:

I decided to start at Mexico and go clockwise since we had FP for Soarin in the afternoon !!!!!

First Stop.....Margaritas..I mean Mexico....

I loved the frozen margaritas when we went for F&W, but against my better judgement we went inside to Cantina de San Angel....

pirate: Not only did we pay double....we hated what we ordered...

DH doesn't like Tequila (yeah, margaritas were a bad choice) but you can't really taste it in the frozen ones....these were too strong, I took 2 sips and wanted to throw it out. I threw out DHs, but he forced mine down...he said for $18 he was going to drink it :rolleyes2

We browsed the shops...very cute, and out of the sun...then we went on the 3 Caballeros ride..which we love, and we got the front row :cool1:

Next up....Norway, and Maelstrom.....front row again pixiedust:

Forgot to stop in the bakery, and we were stopped department store style and had perfume in our nostrils :faint:

Plus it was HOT!!!!

We skipped China...sorry....

Stopped in Germany (DMIL born in Germany & HAD to buy her something for watching our babies)

I picked out some Raspberry flavored Liquor chocolates~which survived the heat & the trip home.....her review...GONE IN 1 HOUR, SHE SAID THEY WERE THE BEST SHE HAS EVER HAD :cheer2:

We stood in line for a pretzel..but I noticed Italy was next. Told DH maybe we could check in early for Via Napoli, and he agreed since he was hungry....the pretzel can wait...

Another perfume store...well there's more than that, but DHs sensitive to scents...Prada is pretty strong...

So we went to Via Napoli, the place was packed, and it was only 1pm!!!

They were turning away people without ADRs, and I almost didn't ask, but the hostess said "Happy Anniversary, no problem, we will seat you in 5 minutes" :bitelip:

We had a lovely table for 2 next to the window, and the nicest waiter ever. I told him I wasn't going to insult the Italian language and order in Italian and he let me order in English :goodvibes

For drinks...Sangria a MUST!!! A glass $8 and pitcher $20...HELLO, the pitcher is a bargain. We got the White, DH isn't a "wine" guy so I figured he might like it....HE LOVED IT!!!

DH got the veal meatballs with spaghetti (this was yummy)

I got a Margherita Pie (sp?) ~ DH and I shared both!!! This was by far the best Disney pizza EVER!!!!!!!
0811121405.jpg

This was my ONLY food pic..but I had to take it!!!!

After we finished our food we were brought a dessert on the house, and they sang Happy Anniversary to us...in Italian...

I start crying...DH laughs at me crying...then he starts to tear up...

The dessert, it was 2 vanilla wafers with yummy vanilla cream...it was DELICIOUS....we gobbled it up!!!!

We finished our pitcher...and mind you, we were not rushed out WHATSOEVER!!!!!!

This was the most perfect Anniversary Meal ::yes::

I'll stop here.....

Up next...the rest of WS....how far did I get after 1/2 pitcher of Sangria :rotfl:
