Hi. I'm here! Loving the report! DD was peeking over my shoulder and got excited seeing the picture of the view from your balcony with the CR in the corner and knew right away you were in WDW.

It was super good! I get full quickly, and waffles as yummy as they are don't sit well in my belly in the heat....the omelette station is in the middle of the 2 buffet lines....Ithink they do eggs to order too!

I felt bad for my DH that I was crying....I can't control it!

This was our 2nd couple trip.....it was amazing!!!!!

So as we were checking out the ponies at the farm at FW, I realized it was time to go to the Poly to meet sis!!!

So I asked DH, should we go to the boat or take the bus?

He asked if we were closer to the bus or boat?

Well....the bus stop was right there...

The bus to WL pulled up immediately, so we chose that one...2 minutes later we were at WL.....

OK bus or boat to MK?????

DH wanted the boat, but we were AT the bus stop, how long could it take????

We waited, and waited, and watched 2 sets of buses for each park AND DTD come and go...FINALLY the MK bus came (yep, should've took the boat)

SO we get to MK, and start walking up the Monorail ramp....

"Folks, the monorail is delayed, please take the buses or the boat"

Right turn Clyde, and we hopped on line for the boat....

OK, I am one of those people in the store who will ALWAYS end up in the longest line!!!! Same thing here...DH said lets take the bus, I pick the boat....and we wait.....

Luckily I have a wonderful sis, who I texted, and she waited for us at the dock...in the heat....LOVE THAT SIS O'MINE

Finally we get to the Poly...and sis brings me & my DH to the CL lounge (I wish I could've brought her to WL as well...if only we had more time I guess....)

Dark clouds rolled in, but we sat and chatted before her Dinner ADR....
Dani is just great!!! DH enjoyed meeting her

The Poly lounge is nice, It looks bigger from the outside and pics, but it is very nice!!!!

So we said our "see you laters" and we were off the MK...

(I forgot a Dismeet with iloveeeyore at Tambu at 7p.....DUH! but luckily sis found her!!!)

Boat to MK......and we did Hall of Presidents, HM, then ate at CHH

Dinner was yummy! I had the Lobster roll & Fish (couldn't choose) and DH had Shrimp...and finished my fish

We ventured over to SM....DH has never been on SM....but the wait was 75 min..... and no more FP....every line got longer...so we decided to go back to WL and come back to MK later (it was EMH)

Back at OFC...

I had some super yummy individual sized Blueberry cobbler and wine, DH had beer...we grabbed brownies for late....and we chatted with the nicest 2 CMs....I am so bad with names....they are ALL nice there....we watched the EWP from our table for 2...then went back to the room to watch Wishes from the balcony!!! DH ate the turndown chocolates...all 4 of them....

A bat flew on top of us which freaked me out, but DH made me more at ease (as always)

After wishes we took a bath in the whirlpool tub and decided to turn in for the night....(I think the late arrival took its toll...and too much wine for me )

We crashed out by 11 I think....

That bed is so comfy, I felt like a Princess with all those pillows

Up next...Day 3~Epcot!

Good for you for not letting the transportation issues get to you. And that is great that you got to check out the Poly lounge. We have only seen it from the outside too, but it looks lovely. Nothing wrong with a little wine to end the evening... after all it was a super special anniversary trip!!

I love reading this. It is so different from the hustle and bustle of our family trips. I forgot to add yesterday that CP is my favorite breakfast buffet precisely because of the omelet station -yum!

I hindsight, I should've just taken the boat from FW to CR, and the monorail to Poly...but being the monorail was down..I am glad I didn't....I saw the WL bus and wanted to get into the A/C...I'm a wussy

I actually thought it was a bird...when he pointed out it was a bat, I sat in a fetal position until Wishes started

My time with sis was better than any ride at MK

So frustrating when you're trying to get somewhere & just seems like you keep getting delayed. But, I'm glad y'all made it to Poly & were able to meet up with Dani.

Did your DH enjoy the shrimp at CHH? I'm thinking that is what I'll get if we make it there.
