Any ideas/suggestions to "attach" identification info to my 8, 6, and 5 year olds while at WDW? I've seen the beaded bracelet w cell #'s. Any other ideas???
We use Safety Tattoos. The quick stick and you can write your number on it. DD2 wears them weekly at Busch Gardens or Water Country. They have held up well at the water park, and we haven't had an issue with them coming off.
I have used the cheap plastic rubber-y bracelets to put our cell numbers & childs name on inside with sharpie. I sometimes have to "coat" sharpie with clear nail polish, depending on the type of rubber used. I have the kids wear them & practice if they are lost, how to find a CM, what to show them on the bracelet, etc. Best thing is we just got a bunch of these as freebie promotions at a local fair!

We use Vital ID Bracelets. They look like sporty wristbands and come in a bunch of colors. They have a little info paper that you fill out and fold up, then you slip that inside the bracelet. My 9 year-old son thinks the tatoos are lame , but when I asked if he still wanted to wear his ID for our upcoming trip, he said yes.
We ordered dog tags for our kids with our cell numbers on them, their name (because DD was 2 when we made our first trip), and I included that DS has a nut allergy.
I like the dog tags for several reasons. The kids were willing to wear them each day at WDW, and they wear them for other outings as well. They are able to keep them inside their shirts (on a chain) and no one is able to see the information on them unless the kids show them. And we have been able to use them for the last 3-4 years.
When we showed the kids the dog tags and told them what to do if they got separated from us, it was easy for them to pull out of their shirts and show them to a cast member.
Fortunately, there was only one incident where they came in handy. DS got away from me at Incredible Pizza. I saw him walking around a bank of games - we were kind of walking in circles in the same direction. I saw him pulling his dog tag out of his shirt and trying to get an employee's attention. I caught up with him before the employee noticed him. (Customer attentiveness is not nearly as good at Incredible Pizza as it is at WDW!!)
Good luck in finding what works best for you & your family!!
Also make sure you point out the CM's to the kids and instruct them to go straight to a CM in the event that they get separated from the rest of the family. We used hospital id bands, wrote the cell number on the inside and on the outside we wrote "If I'm lost remove me". Told the kids to go to a CM and show them the id band if they got separated from us. (also used permanent marker)
I just got a pack of these: http://safetytat.com/ I got the ones that stick on for about 2 weeks or until you take them off..a pack of 12 shipped was under $20 The 10 yr old knows my phone ## but the twins are 4 so they will have those stuck to teh back of their arms.
I thought about the bracelets but knowing my kids they would play with them and lose them somewhere
I read on here that someone purchased a nice "cheapo" Buzz Lightyear (or whatever character your child likes) watch and put their phone number on the band of the watch. When the child gets lost, he has show a CM his watch "Show them your Buzz Lightyear watch" and that helps!

This is what we do too! and you can also put it around their ankle, for a younger child---if you think they might slip it off. DS4 wears one without a problem!
Take a picture of them each morning so you have a current photo of what they are wearing.
Do you loose your children in the mall, at local festivals, parks etc. If not then don't worry about it to much, you probably won't lose them in Disney.
When my son went on his first school field trip he was 5 and not very good at listening and direction. I couldn't go with him and was terrified he would get lost so I wrote his name and school and my name and phone number on a piece of paper and put it in his jeans pocket. Cheap and effective.
