Safest Area for Groceries near WDW?

Are you making your grocery stop on your way from MCO?

Car service drivers stop at the Publix 9930 Universal Blvd

It's on the way and only adds a couple of minutes of drive time.

edited to add It's very safe and doesn't appear to be overly crowded. You can download the app. Make a shopping list organized by aisle.

Shopping at that Publix is convenient if you’ll be taking 528 to I-4 to WDW. We prefer 417 to Osceola Parkway (we’ll do anything to avoid I-4), in which case the Orange Lake Publix is more convenient. So you’ll want to map your route before deciding where to shop.
Staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's much easier to go around to the Target at 3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd, Kissimmee.

If you're going from AKL to Publix, I agree. If you want to stop at Publix on your way from MCO to AKL the Publix I mentioned is faster and is easier. Its the store used by drivers. The N route with a stop at that Publix will show as the best way using Google maps.

People have their favorite routes. An extra few minutes isn't the end of the world.
