I wish I was ''Doing the Happy Dance" right now. We did just go this past Sept/Oct but I want to go back(yesterday)!! I am planning our next trip and I'm thrilled for that but it feels so far away. How many of you get sad about wanting to go back? My cousin just went and a close friend of mine is going in two weeks. I'm excited and happy for them but still jealous lol! I always have Disney on the brain and I'm raising 5 little Disney addicts who always talk about going back);) I'm hoping for Sept 2015 but might have to push it back to May 2016. We are going to buying a new house this year. I do have hubby thinking about owning DVC(that is a work in progress though:rolleyes:...But I have decided that this upcoming trip will be a surprise for the kiddos. I'm not telling them until we leave for the airport. It's also going to be a 10 day trip with my parents joining us for the second part of the week. They aren't telling the kids either. They are just going to knock on our room door and surprise them! It's going to be great:) I just can't take this wait!!!!!!!! I'm sad and happy at the same time:(:)

I adore Disney and love planning for it and talking about it! We took our 2 children 2 years ago (at the time, DS was 6 and DD was 2 1/2) and people thought we were nuts, but I couldn't wait any longer! I took my DS back last Memorial Day to the MK, and our next big trip is next summer- 5 night cruise then 10 days at the parks, 7 of which my parents will be joining! I tried talking the DH into DVC but he is not interested. He is not as into Disney as I am, but he humors me!

planning is half the fun. there are so many options. I plan my trip diffrently each time. this year I am thinking a little more resort time and resort hoping. We are going to stay at three diffrent resorts:hyper:. the supriseing the kids sounds like so much fun. I think its awsome you have the will power to not let it slip to the kids. I know i couldnt pull a suprise off my obsession is to big. I would say something to my husband then the kids would know. :listen:

I always have a trip planned, even if it is a few years away. I try to fill up the time with monthly Disney movie nights, making things for the trip (autograph books, trip journal for DD, tshirts, etc...), and saving extra money with Swagbucks. I also love coming here on the Dis to read trip reports and keep updated on all the new things going on at the parks. Planning is half the fun! (Well, it CAN be.) :drive:

Planning is so much fun!! Right now my friend is there, I love going on Facebook and looking at all her pictures she posts of the day;) I will admit I'm jealous but so happy for them! I feel like I'm always planning our next trip! DH and I have been talking for a while about owning. I've done ALOT of research and I think we have finally decided when we can buy! January 2015 we will be joining DVC:cloud9::cheer2: That's when we'll have what we want for a down payment and we'll be able to bank and borrow enough points to use for our September 2015 trip! We are buying enough points to go every other year. I'm thrilled to finally be able to join!!!

It's been 3 years since I was last at Disney World, and I have been DYING to do the happy dance all 3 years. After several failed attempts to get a vacation to materialize, I'm psyched that, after I do the free dining craziness on Wednesday, we will officially be booked for October.

I spent three years planning theoretical trips, so oddly enough a lot of this trip has been "planned" for some time now. But let me tell you, now that it feels real....I'm doing the happy dance up the street, into my classes, into my workplace....working the ridiculous hours that I do is a lot easier to stomach when I know where all the money will be going! :cool1:

Hope you get to go sooner rather than later, I know how agonizing it is having to wait YEARS for your next trip!

Happy that you get to do the happy dance:goodvibes We have brought our kids three times and it was always a three year gap in between trips.... Hoping my ''penciled'' in September 2015 trip becomes ''inked'' in :woohoo:

I adore planning for Disney! Actually, I'm currently sitting here eating a salad, sipping on smoothie, and writing up some information on how I plan just because I love planning so much!

Honestly though, it's one of my absolute favorite things to do. I have a "dream trip" that I want to plan and every time I'm feeling a bit blue I work on that when I'm not actually planning a trip I'm going on.

Ohh what is your dream trip? Do tell!! Ours is next year: 5 nights on the Dream then 10 days at the parks!

Oh that sounds lovely! My dream trip is ten days at the Boardwalk, doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour, and really exploring the parks more than I have gotten to in the past. I haven't been for 10 days since we used to do big family vacations and the last one was when I was a teenager and then I didn't care much about doing more than rides and I would looooove to go at a leisurely pace doing all the tours and enjoying the parks.
