Sad Day for me and Dis

I just got the Sparrow outfit this past week after months and months of putting in codes. All of you know the feeling. So I have been wearing parts of it just to show off!! I will admit that. It is just so cool. People have been asking me to trade but I always say "sorry no". Than I usually tell them I have only had it a few days and they have been really nice about it. But tonight someone wasn't so nice. I will not say what he said but it was a good example of the dictionery dance. The name looked really familiar to me and I was right. I came here and found out it was a fellow dis member. That just ruined my whole evening. Sorry but I just had to say something.

If it is who i think it is, this DIS member seems to seek out DIS members and harass them on VMK.....I just don't get it. Some people can be so nasty, and this player always acts the same way. Sorry to hear that happened to you

Hey that is alot of hard work to put in all those codes to get the suit (if your lucky enough to get one) I put in alot codes and never got one but then got one in a trade! And yes we know the feeling ...of course we all want to show it off! I say don't worry about his jealousy of you and your Sparrow suit! I am so happy for you...Wow...cool you just got Sparrow! Sorry to hear about the harrassing. Vmk has gotten really bad lately with ppl harrassing and showing no respect.
There is a certain Diser that constantly Harrasses Skippypaul and I. AND.. You know he would not get away with what he does if he were to approach Rob face to face in the real world, but since they can hide behind their computer monitor and be the big bad tough kid they go all out with the constant harrassing and disrespect. Its so frustrating because Our hands are tied, all we can do is report everytime, hoping that one of these days Vmk staff will listen and do something about it. There should be a Zero tolerance harrassing value in vmk.

Cool for you Sharkm that you won the Sparrow suit. Congrats! for everyone. It's really too bad that some are so immature & selfish that they can't look past their own wants to be happy for others. As a mom I'm surprised & disappointed the parents don't step in and use this as an opportunity to teach that you treat others the way you want to be treated or face unpleasant consequences.

If you think it will help I'd be happy to write the Black Hole and express my concerns. My daughter has been hanging out with you SkippyPaul & SweetJaydGrl and told me about the harrassment. It concerns me that players act like that and that the ignore & report feature do not help. Maybe if VMK also hears from a parent or two that is concerned about harrassment going unchecked they'll do something about it.

It's sad that this person is a DIS member in that it puts a bit of a dark shadow on an otherwise very awesome group. I'm so glad I found this site. You all are wonderful, helpful and very kind. Hopefully you'll be a positive influence to help this person grow up some or that he'll leave. Though I can't imagine any of the fansites would condone such unpleasant behavior.

I too got a sparrow suit from a code - I had been trying for so long and was completely shocked. I wore the hat around a little but I felt that I was attracting waaaay tooooo much attention. I hated having to answer everyones pleads to trade it. I would be doing a quest and just wanted to get through it as fast as possible and would be constantly interrupted. I ended up taking it off and not really wearing it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY SPARROW! but I now will only wear it in my own room.

I hope you will wear your suit with pride. Just turn off trades when you are walking around and take the suit off when you go to trade rooms.
I have to do that with my green explorer suit.
