I was wondering if the gift shop at BCV sells sandpails and shovels for the kids to play with at SAB. Can you rent them? :confused3 I really don't want to drag anything extra on the plane but I know the little ones would love to play with them in the sand. Also do they have small inner tubes to rent for little kids? I know the big ones are too big for a 4yr old and 3 yr old. Can anyone help me
with these very complicated questions? :teeth:

The last time we were there (spring break), at Hurricane Hannah's (pool bar), you could order the kids' lunch and it was served in a small pail with a shovel. I don't think that has changed.

Can't answer regarding the inner tubes, we haven't rented any, and I didn't notice what others had.

In reply to your inner tube question... Just buy one at Walmart before you leave. When they aren't inflated they take up no room at all.

Thanks! That's a great idea -I'm just wondering why I didn't think of it. It'll probably be cheaper then renting one also. :teeth:

Make sure the ones you bring are clear. The lifeguards need to be able to see under the tube to make sure no one is having problems.

I'll second the Hurricane Hannah's buckets. We've had so many of these kids' lunch sand pails and shovels over the years. They are stacked high in our garage. Most of the places near the pools and even at the water parks sell these sand pail kids' meals.

If you don't want to take things back on the plane, give them to some kids checking in. Pay it forward .. :sunny:

That used to be the case, but when we were there before the Member Cruise last month, we were surprised to see them renting solid green tubes. :confused3

We also take our own tubes to SAB :thumbsup2

We were there in Oct and the tubes were green. I don't know about renting pails and shovels but there were tonnes of extra ones in the sand pile in the kiddie area. Didn't belong to any one kid in particular.

I bought a pool noodle for $4 an alternative to the tube and still lots of fun :)
