I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at BCV during Easter week and can speak to how crowded SAB gets. I know there is no pool hopping allowed, but if the resort is at max occupancy, would SAB be too crowded to enjoy?

SAB is my least favorite pool because of the crowds nearly all the time (except when the weather is less than 50 degrees outside) and for the pool itself. I think it's just too deep in some places (8' or more) and a very swift current to pull you into that deep spot. I don't like the sinking sands area. If it is warm outside, it can be very difficult to find chairs.

So when we stay at BCV, I go to the Dunes Cove pool while my husband and son head for SAB.

It is very crowded! All of the beach chairs are usually taken by noon, we usually get back from the parks around 2pm, and head over there. It is packed but we know that, and bring the bare essentials with us because we know we won't get a chair. We usually end up at the quiet pool.
