S.W fares went up again today!!!!!

I have offered this before and will offer it again..I have had great luck with SW VIsa being so quick to turn around rewards, card, etc. In the matter of 5 weeks I earned 2 round trip tix and 500 in gift cards. Granted I have to fly DD12 with DH and I so I would like her fee to be reasonable so I don't have to use up ALLLLL my 500 gift card on her but really the visa program is fantastic. I did join though in FEB. under old promotion with NO fee and free RD and 500 giftcard. NEW promo gives you 2 RD's with first purchase and no blackout dates. I have blackouts on my promo so had to work around that but anyone going this summer SIGN UP!!! 59.00 for the new promo for 2 round trips...

Well i agree that the fares normally fluctuate up and down but that does not seem to be the case this year. Our fares in upstate ny started at $134 when the scheduled came out for sept and have only gone up. never down and i must check at least 10 times a day. even stayed up till midnight last tues because I heard that fares go down wed night between midnight and 1am.

Same thing with the flight I bought to go from Bradley to MCO on 9/30...the nonstop I wanted started at $139 and now it's up to $174 I believe? I caved a couple of weeks ago and bought a flight that I didn't want (in the afternoon, with a layover) for $79, hoping the nonstop would drop a little and I could change it. No such luck yet! Kinda kicking myself for not just buying it when it was $139! I'll just keep checking I guess, still a decent amount of time left before September!

I bought our August tickets on Friday. They already went up$ 5.00 per segment, $10.00 r/t. Glad I bought when I did.

Wow, you get 2 round trip tickets with the new S.W. Visa promo, I thought it was only 20,000 points?? Which for me is only one roundtrip ticket with the price of the airfare where we are.
