I know this should probably be under the Disney Cruise line, but since it was a "Member's Only" cruise, I think it has a place here, right? If not, forgive me.

I've placed the trip report and pictures on my web site:

Day 1 - S. S. Member Cruise

I hope you all enjoy it, and I hope those that joined in on the fun all enjoyed themselves.

Darla,
Thanks for taking the time to post(with pics). It was great reading about the members cruise. I hope they do another like you said in 2004(July-7 day cruise).

You are right about Continental(out of Cleveland) always higher fares, thats why we fly out of Pittsburgh a lot.;)

Darla - I am going to head over and read your trip report right now. I just want to say thanks for posting. I know you all had a wonderful time. I was not interested in a members only cruise before but I am now! I hope they schedule one again sometime in the future. Again, thanks for posting. I always enjoy reading about your trips!

Great report. Great photos. And great advice about not flying out of Cleveland. We usually try Akron which, believe it or not, is sometimes less expensive than Pittsburgh. We've flown from Columbus a couple of times too. Airtran runs a nonstop flight from Akron to Orlando once a day and frequent internet specials bring those prices down.

Darla and Lisa - We're getting together tomorrow afternoon at Summit Mall in Akron at 2PM. Hope you can make it.

I am such a sap!! I am sitting here enjoying your trio report so much that I find tears of joy running down my face. I know-I'm weird. Thanks so much for your very detailed report. I feel as if you really included us in your great time.

I am looking forward to future Mmeber Cruises-it seems well worht it.

Darla,
Thanks for the GREAT trip report and photos.
I have to get my family on the next DVC Members Cruise. You say, July 2004. That's even better yet, won't have to take DD out of school for that cruise!
:jester:

Darla,
thanks ofr taking time to report... sorry we didn't get a chance to meet on the cruise... maybe there'll be a 7 day one for members!

Wasn't it more magical than you ever imagined?? *Sigh*

I have to agree about Andrea McArdle. We were also disappointed in that whole act. Oh well, I'm sure that some folks enjoyed it.

We loved the buffet on Nassau day. The jambalaya was loaded with seafood and the stone crab claws were delish. The mahi-mahi was nice and spicy. I guess if you don't like fish, the rest of it was fairly basic.

I'm ready to go again, especially with the 6 inches of snow that fell today!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Darla,

DH & I just looked at your pictures and posts. Thanks for sharing!! It's the next best thing to being there. I hope they do another DVC cruise. We were debating on going on one in May 2004 when DS graduates but I think I'd rather wait for the member cruise!!

Darla,

Great report as always. Couldn't get the last couple of days to work until today. You really were in the right place at the right time. We would have loved to have one of those Member Cruise signs. We'll have to keep an eye on eBay!

It was great meeting you and hope our paths cross again some day soon.

Great report as always. Couldn't get the last couple of days to work until today.

I just fixed it on Sunday night. I found there was a problem, but since you could get to the later days on the day 1, I just left it like that the weekend...sorry about that. But, as you say, it is all fixed now.

I thought I heard July 2004 for the next DVC cruise, but that just doesn't seem right to me, I would think that DVC would rent out the ship when DCL can't get a full ship!

I think it's going to be much harder to get a cabin on the next DVC Cruise

Anyhow, I'd love to do it again! I see there have already been SS Member Cruise 2003 Pins selling on Ebay :D
