S/D transportation ?

Am thinking about S/D for our next visit and know that Epcot is within walking distance. What other transportation is available to other Disney parks? Is it like Disney hotels such as ASMo? Does it pick up frequently?

You have bus transportation that S/D shares with YC/BC/BCV/BWI/BWV to AK and MK. They were talking about two separate buses for the resorts, but I'm not sure what the split was. You can walk or take a boat to Epcot and Disney Studios. You take a bus to DTD.

Buses run about every 20-30 minutes. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower.

My first trip to the Swan will be in less than three weeks. It my understanding that there are water taxis that go from Swan/Dolphin to Epcot and MGM. There are buses that run very regularly to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and DTD.

I believe you can also walk to Epcot and MGM.

When we were there 1(Swan)2/28-1/02/94 it was such a great location. We walked to Epcot, Fantasia Garden mini-golf, boat to MGM, bus to MK in 15 min and it only stopped at Dolphin( I heard it has at other times stopped at Y&BC); we drove to AK and DTD so can't comment on their transportation. Busses to water parks also seemed pretty regular. We loved it!

Hi,

From the S/D you take a resort bus to AK and MK and you can either walk or take a boat to MGM and EC. You would also take a bus if you are going to Downtown Disney or the waterparks.
