I am thinking about renting points for our upcoming trip. I was wondering a few things...

Is this a Non-DVC member reservation to Disney? Will we get daily maid service?

I know we can add the DDP to the ressie but what about tickets? Will we have a KTTW card or paper tickets?

And the BIG question can I leave my cc for room charging?

Thanks for the help!

Oh and what are the hardest studios to get?

If you rent points from a DVC Member, you receive the same maid service that the member would receive. If your trip is 7 nights or less, you will receive trash and towel service on day 4. Beds will not be made, and no fresh sheets. If your stay is 8 nights of longer, you receive full housekeeping on day 4, trash and towel on day 8, check-in is day 1.

You will receive KTTW room keys that would include your dining options, if added. Remember that the DVC owner would need to add it to the reservation for you. As far as park tickets, you can add unused park tickets to your KTTW at the concierge desk in the lobby. Present your tickets and cards there.

And the BIG question can I leave my cc for room charging?

Yes, the room charging is the same as for a Deluxe WDW resort, $1500 limit before it is charged out and renewed. The most difficult studio would be AKV Concierge, followed by (in no particular order) VWL, BWV standard view, BWV Boardwalk View, BCV, BLT. Much of the "hard to get" status, especially at VWL, has to do with the small number of units available overall. VWL is the smallest onsite DVC. Also there are only 5 AKV Concierge units.

The largest DVCs onsite are OKW and SSR, thus are usually the easiest locations to get.

For some good info on renting, you may want to read these two threads. Bear in mind, though, that some of our posting rules for the Rent/Trade board have changed since these threads were started.
