I'm new to this site. I'm confused about codes and pins. How does one receive these discounts?

Sign up for everything you can related to Disney and hope that you are one of the lucky ones to randomly be picked to get one.

No one knows for sure how they get sent out. We have gone at least 10 times since 1994 and never received a pin code. We are now DVC members so we don't have to worry about them any longer.

I have also heard that if you go on the website and "save" planned vacations and order the DVD that it can spur a code for you...........that is what I have heard.

I have recently been pricing vacations and saving them and received a code, so there is probably something to it.

Watch your email and snail mail, my first one went to the junk folder.

I have received them in the mail and via email...We went a long time ago,a nd then we went again in 2007, and now again we are going this year...I have received probably 6 pin codes in the last 2 years...so I think they are definitely random...but I always sign up for a planning video and sign up for things on the disney website. We also have a disney visa, they offer codes for cardholders, too. Hope that helps!
