My wife volunteers at a German Shepard Rescue.
She came across an exceptional German Shepard, one of many she got adopted.
Here's a note from the family that adopted Ryker:
"I had a full day of emotional experiences today. My wonderful husband passed away this morning. Ryker, my husband's constant companion, and I were by his side. When he took his last breath, Ryker jumped onto his bed and howled for 3-4 minutes. The hospice nurse was astonished. The moment was sad yet touching and memorable. I never expected Ryker to express grief in such a graphic way, but his actions no longer surprise m
