RVs and/or Amtrak

We are having an obstacle to planning our trip. Our new car cannot be here for 3-4 months :sad2: Now we are scrambling to find a way to get to the magic. As I said before, we cannot fly due to positioning/support and health issues. We have 3 electric wheelchairs and 5 people. For the RV to be affordable, we would also have to be able to sleep in it. Only my Dad can sleep in an overhead bed. A Fun Mover aka Toy Hauler (wheelchair accessible doorway) looks pretty good. A large wheelchair RV would also be good. But we can't find anyone to rent/available or call backs :guilty: . We are still searching. Anyone know of a good wheelchair RV or Fun Mover? Anyone willing to rent theirs?

Our other possible option is Amtrak (Sunrise Limited). We would rent a wheelchair sleeping room, 1 or 2 family suites, and possibly a regular room for luggage. The thing is it would all have to be in one boxcar and we have to make sure wheelchairs can get in the family suites. How long do they allow for loading/unloading & transfers? Would they allow extra time/assistance? Have you had problems with power outages? How do you find out whether the station is wheelchair accessible? What are your thoughts/experiences with Amtrak?

Thanks!
