I posted this question on the Resort boards but am getting no responses, so maybe the camping Disers can help.

My family and I will be traveling in Florida in our motorhome before checking into WDW in Sept. Right now we are booked at POFQ then BC. Will we have a problem parking our 30' Class C in either parking lot?

Anyone have any experience with this before? TIA for any advice, tips or answers. :goodvibes

I have a similar sized motorhome and have had no problems parking at the resorts we've driven it to. Actually, CSR was a bit of a pain, but that was because they had a huge convention going on and much of it was out in the parking lots (fire and rescue equipment convention), but we did eventually find a spot. If you are not accustomed to parking in urban situations/parking lots, a great piece of advice is to find a space that is bordered to the rear with grass or a ditch and back in letting your rear end extend into the extra space. On my moho I can completely fit into most normal spaces if I have a buffer behind the space. It may still be wise to straddle two spaces so no one can park right next to you, leaving no room to maneuver out!

I think Boardwalk might be the only exception, they sometimes have security at the entrances to the extra lots, other then the main gate, because the size of the lots are smaller then most or resorts. I've "heard" they were checking resort id and making non guests park across the street in the cm/overflow lot. :confused3

But, since the OP is going to be staying at the Beach Club, I would assume they will make arrangements for their moho. But then again, there must be a cutoff somewhere... I wouldn't expect to be welcomed with open arms arriving in a 45' Marathon with a 30' trailer! I guess the best policy is to be hopeful but flexible, and keep in mind that you are throwing them a curveball so the reaction may be "less than magical"! But like I said before, I have parked at Poly, which is pretty cramped parking, as a non-Poly guest with no problems. The guard kinda rolled his eyes as though to say "sure you can park here if you can find a place for this thing" and I think he expected me to do a loop and leave frustrated, but I found a spot and backed 'er in! It's one of the best things about having a short wheelbase moho... that long tail that can levitate in space behind the "space". Enjoy!
:santa:

They said they would be guests at each of those resorts.

As far as I know, Old Key West is the only parking lot that cannot accomodate RVs because of their apartment style parking.

OP here again: Thanks for all the replies. However, we are staying at POFQ then BC (not Boardwalk). But I at least have hope now that we will be allowed to park our MH while we enjoy our week at WDW. I will prob try to call the resorts directly (a feat in itself).

Thanks camping Disers:thumbsup2

Yes as long as you get a parking pass for the hotel you're staying at. You will most likely have a VERY long walk to and from your camper, because you'll need a few spots! We've done this before, at a value resort, Animal kingdom lodge, and Fort Wilderness lodge~Of course we never did mention what we were driving~just said yes to the parking pass! hehehe
