Rusty's Seafood vs. Grill's

I am trying to decide where to eat while we are in Port Canaveral. In the past, I have heard a number of folks mention Rusty's Seafood, but lately I've seen a number of posts discuss Grill's. Has anyone here eaten at both, and if so, which would you choose if you could only pick one?

Thanks for any opinions! :earsboy:

Sorry, I can't compare the two since I have only eaten at Grills. Grills food was really good. One thing I didn't hear on these boards before we went was that Grills has a huge outdoor bar and deck that had hundreds of people on them. I had pictured something a lot quieter and smaller. It reminded me of my frat party days, though I was a little uncomfortable having my kids exposed to all the rowdy drinking and smoking.

(People were well behaved, just boisterous.)

We have only been to grills. It is fantastic. Always full of families and cruisers.

Yes, there is an outside bar on a deck, live music on some nights.

Nobody has ever been overly rowdy, always well behaved.

We just got back from the May 8th Western and prior stayed at Cocoa Beach for a week and went to the port twice to watch the Wonder sail out. Both times we planned to eat at Grill's but was way too crowded and loud. We left and ate at Rusty's and had wonderful food and a great view of the ships departure! I guess it just depends on what type of atmosphere you want.

With my three kids along, I might have a preference for a little more sedate environment, so maybe that means I should lean towards Rusty's...

Thanks for all the advice. This may come down to a coin toss! :scratchin
