Well, it's been very wet here of late. Warm days, cool nights, and with my husbands work schedule we just haven't gotten the lawn mowed for about 2 weeks.

We went out yesterday, and we've been invaded by a bloom of rust fungus all over the lawn. I'm not a real happy camper about this. Hopefully today will offer a dry hour at least that we can mow.

From what I've read this isn't a big deal, and it will die off over the winter. But until then, does anyone have any advice on dealing with this mess?

Kristen we too have had too much rain and very humid weather. It's causing lots of problems.

I read somewhere to fertilize the lawn with a high nitrogen fertilizer. This will help to control the rust.
