Running "Dopey"

My DSis and DH are runnng the "Dopey" in '10 (Goofy + 5K) and I was hoping to get a medal made for them since Disney doesn't recognize this "event" yet. Does anyone know if the likeness of Dopey is copyrighted? I'm guess it is but wanted to check. Any ideas for a medal?

Unfortunately someone has to watch the kids or I might be in there with them.

I'm sure Dopey is copyrighted but it is my understanding, from the rare visit to the DISigns forum, that Disney legal team won't bother you if you aren't using the image for profit. Most WISHers just get a Dopey pin to wear. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with though since I am going to be Dopey in January myself!! What a nice idea to honor your DSis and DH....oh, and howdy neighbor!!

That is a cool idea, I might even sign up for the 5K if there was another medal in it. I am all about the bling ya know
