It depends. View opinions are pretty subjective. I'd be happy at WL in a room that didn't even have windows, but then I spend hardly any time looking at whatever's outside the room. I think WDW rooms are for changing clothes and sleeping. If I book a resort like WL, it's for hanging in the lobby and restaurants and pool, not in the room. If I have a view I'll take pictures of it, and I've watched Illuminations from BCV balconies, but that's about it. Didn't even spend much time on the balcony in the AKL savannah view. I preferred one of those round outlook areas with the big rocking chairs that are just off the lobby.
If, on the other hand, you are my diametrical opposite and the room view is going to make or break your stay, get the view you want. If money is really an object, you have to decide if the resort itself or the room view means more to you. It's possible you'd get upgraded but I wouldn't count on it.
