RunDisney Princess Half Surprise?

So I was looking for a RunDisney forum on here, and there doesn't seem to be one. (There should really be one lol)

Anyway, we are going to be in Disney World in February 2017, and our dates coincide with the Princess Half. My mom has always wanted to run the half, but because of the cost, she has always changed her mind and never done it. For Mother's Day, I wanted to give her gift of her running in the Half. I'm trying to figure out a way to surprise her with it. I won't be able to register her for it until June, so this will sort of be an IOU kinda thing lol. Any ideas?

We surprised my mom with an entry to the Princess Half 5k race a couple years ago for Christmas. We wrapped up a pair of shoe laces, and WDW t-shirt in two boxes we gave her before the final box with a copy of the race registration. It was fun because it kept her guessing as she opened everything. Perhaps instead of the registration you can do a home-made paper/print out telling her she's invited to hang up her glass slipper for a pair of running shoes for 13.1 magical miles?

I just found the thread on there. I'm so glad I was able to also. I did post this on there also. I love the idea of doing the home made paper thing. Also the shoe laces. That's an awesome idea.
