Rundisney early registration - how many people can i sign up?

For next years dark side marathon weekend my family (myself, DH, and twin 12 yo boys) want to do the 5K race together. When they offer the early DVC registration -- should i be able to sign everyone up at the same time? My husband is on the deed with me, but obviously my kids are not.

Does the system allow me to sign up husband and kids?
Does he need to have his own online DVC account to sign up?
Do I have to wait to sign up the kids because they are not DVC owners?

Just not sure how to tackle this so if anyone else has encountered this let me know what you have done.

We signed up for the January 2017 Marathon Weekend 5K about a year ago, so I have forgotten some of the details. But you should be able to sign everyone up through your DVC login, but you have to do it one person at a time. Both you and your husband should have your own Active.com account prior to registration opening - makes the process go much faster. Your kids don't need an Active account since they're minors.

BTW, there's a runDisney forum on the DIS - scroll all the way down the list of forums to the "Just For Fun" section. You'll find lots of help there, probably including a thread dedicated to the race you plan to participate in!
