Run Expo? Is there a fee or ticket needed?

Hi all you experienced Disney Runners! Just wondering if there is a fee or ticket needed to get into the Sports Complex and or the Run expo? The reason I ask is that on my friends Disney room reservation they have included a "Sports complex entrance or mini golf" and I was not sure if that was because she booked through Disney vacations and that was just how they packaged the weekend or if I also needed it. We have a room only reservation for POP. I am running but hubby is not and want to make sure he can come to the run expo with us. At the runs I have been at there is no fee to get into the expo, just wanted to make sure I was not in need of any other ticket for myself and hubby.
As well wondered if there will be a parking charge to park at the Sports Complex if we are resort guests.

Hi Michelle!

For the Marathon Weekend Expo/Packet Pick up there are no fees to get in nor parking fees. I think there are people at the gate as you go up to the buildings but they will only tell you which entrance to go in. They are set up as in/out and that is all I think for this weekend. Don't want to be walking into the OUT turnstyle ouch.

The turnstiles are there for when they do charge for like baseball games and other events taking place at WWS. For the expo (I haven't been to the marathon weekend one before but I have been to 2 there in the last year) all you have to do is tell them at the turnstile that you are there for the marathon expo and they will let you in. I think they had us go around the turnstiles as there is a lane for that. And like someone else said there is no parking fee.

all you have to do is tell them at the turnstile that you are there for the marathon expo and they will let you in.

There will be a zillion (give or take) people there, all doing the same thing...so you won't have to say why you are there...Just ask where to go to pick up your chip and they will direct you straight ahead to the Milk House or else follow everyone else...it is easy, easy, easy...

Oh - and it is a free* event and no charge for parking...

*(except for all the goodies you buy at the Expo!)

Of course there is a fee, I can PM you the pay pal account you need to pay. While you are there you can help my friend in Nigeria who has his money stuck in a bank. Don't worry though, if you forward this to 100 people Bill Gates will give you the money to cover the admission and help my Nigerian friend.
