Rumour: Chip and Dale leaving frontierland and going back to Tomorrowland

Well. . . As long as we can find them somewhere! I've met them in the entrance courtyard area (don't remember any particular outfit), in Frontierland cowboy outfits, and in tomorrowland in those odd space outfits. All fun interactions! Seemed to me that the cowboy ones were the best fit, though, style-wise. I wonder if somebody else is shuffling into rotation in Frontierland?

The rumor I heard is that Woody & Jessie are taking over the spot in Frontierland. Kenny's rumor has Chip N Dale starting in Tomorrowland on the 15th so I guess we'll know soon enough!

Got a picture with them in Frontierland back in January so I'm excited about seeing them in a different costume when I go back in November. Chip n Dale have a lot cooler costumes in the other parks (namely Disneyland California, Hong Kong, and Japan) than in WDW so hopefully these space outfits will be as awesome as they are!

I never understood Chip & Dale meeting in Tomorrowland in the spacesuits, they just didn't fit at all and the spacesuits always seemed like an attempt to crowbar them in.

I actually preferred them in Tomorrowland for some reason. I love their little space suits.

So I'm going on my first EVER Disney trip at the end of this month! EEEEEE! (Just a TAD bit excited here...). I'm a St. Louis Cardinals fan (born and raised in St. Louis... Have little choice in the matter!) and I'm considering bringing my "rally squirrel" stuffed animal in case/when I meet Chip n' Dale. Is that totally crazy and unnecessary? lol (p.s. It kind of looks huge in the attached photo, but it's small. Beanie Baby sized).

Not at all! I've brought a Woody plushie to meet Buzz and Woody before and they loved him! The Hundred Acre Wood crew helped send off a little Roo plushie I bought for my baby cousin (Tigger even tried to skip off with him). Bring your squirrel buddy along! Take him to Animal Kingdom even and see if you run into Russell and Dug from Up. The joke may be old but Dug may have fun with a squirrel

As for moving my favorite chipmunks.... I was going to suggest their Kingdom Hearts attire since they take care of the (space) flying gummi ships but they don't exactly look very futuristic. Personally I'd love to meet Chip and Dale as Rescue Rangers, and Frontierland seems the most appropriate place, but at least we're not being told they're going back into the vault (or wherever characters are locked up until they can come out and play again.)

We brought our stuffed Chip n Dale to meet them on our Disney cruise and they loved it! I wanted to get Chip to hold the stuffed Dale but he wasn't having it. I'm sure they'll probably try to give you a hard time about it being a squirrel and not a chipmunk but in a playful fashion. Chip n Dale are (obviously) my favorite, so I'm a little biased, but I think they are the must fun meet and greets. They are always very playful and joking, and they play off one another in such fun ways. I'm sure they'll love meeting your rally squirrel

AGREED! They were being featured in a dance party at Hollywood Studios in their Rescue Ranger outfits early this year but it looks like that isn't going on anymore

OMG YES! Rescue Rangers in front of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Hollywood Studios. Disney is really missing the boat on that one!

OMG I would pay a lot of money that I don't even have to get to see Chip and Dale in their Rescue Rangers attire. I don't even care what land they would have them in. Hell, I would meet them in the bathrooms as long as they are dressed as the Rescue Rangers!
