But this is always the issue with superheroes. Why do they need anyone other than Superman or Captain Marvel or The Silver Surfer or whoever? There are all of these powerful figures that can take care of everything, but you have to just let that go and assume they're busy or something. Suspend your disbelief. The very concept of superheroes doesn't work if you apply too much logic to it - it completely breaks. The MCU understands this better than other superhero universes which is why it has generally worked better than the competition.

Well, I'll be honest. I thought it was pandering. But you know who loved it, my two daughters and wife, and frankly that's all that matters. Guys got lots of pandering throughout the entire MCU.

If his hair looked like that, yes there would be massive issues with that version of the character. I especially love the shorter CM haircut with the "Can I Speak To Your Manager" vibe.

Nah, man, Mar-Vell's hair has to look like that! I was concerned about Annette Benning as Mar-Vell in the MCU, but once I saw her hair I know they had gotten it right. he's got that '70's platinum blonde, feathered look - and he's rocking it!
