Rumored Jungle Cruise restaurant is confirmed.

WooHoo, I can't wait!! It's exciting to not only see a new restaurant coming in, but the fact that they are putting it into an already existing building. There are way too many abandoned buildings that Disney needs to find ways to use, not that this was abandoned by any means but it is going to be put to really good use other then just a M&G. I also love the fact that it is in Adventureland and a restaurant theme that is geared towards both boys and girls, my girls will be so excited when I tell them the news :goodvibes.

Good news. Always happy to hear of new dining opportunities in MK. And now the wait for the menus to be released. And several months of speculation in the mean time. :chat:

fingers firmly crossed they can possibly open ahead of schedule and we can experience the restaurant in October.

Regardless of when it opens, I'd love to see if they could somehow incorporate some of the Adventurer's Club 'shtick' into it as well! :)

Finally, Something else to alleviate the Non existing 6 mos. ADR to BOG..LoL:confused3....Also it might take some of the burdens off of Peco's Bills, at least for lunch..

Can't wait for this...I love new things.... Now it's like waiting for XMas morning to arrive.LoL:bounce:

The Liberty Tree Tavern refurbishment is directly related to this and that's scheduled to be completed on November 20th. I would imagine the new restaurant wouldn't be open before then.

Well .... very happy to see a new restaurant added and if a counter/table option I think that is a good move (although I think BOG should be all TS) for that area, and glad they are working with existing building/land because if they can squeeze anything fully new in it should be an attraction.

But .... very bummed about the theme. I love the thought of a "jungle" theme decor in Adventureland but was hoping it would be generic jungle so in the future there could be the chance of some character meals. A jungle design could even support rotating characters: Peter Pan, Jungle Book, Pirates, Tarzan (aka boy-centric character meals). The last thing I want is to have while eating a meal is to be part of the Jungle Cruise script. o_O

This is very exciting to me! I love the Jungle Cruise and I really love that a new restaurant would be themed to that ride. It's nice to see a classic Disney attraction like that expanded on.

MK needs more TS options, even with this being a combo TS & QS, it will still help alleviate the craziness which is a 180 day BOG ADR.

And finally, I now have a good and tangible excuse to book a 2016 bounce back when I'm there later this year. :jumping2:
