Just reporting a Rumor and I hope they are not true but wanted to share them so you can get your last rides in, just in case

NEW: Avengers Campus construction at DCA, set to begin in early 2025, will require the removal of the backstage Red Car Trolley barn and will result in Disney discontinuing operation of the attraction in early 2025, Disneyland officials said. A specific date will be shared later.

It's definitely true. The trolley building sits in the area they're going to tear down to do the Avengers Multiverse attraction. I figured the trolley was going away when the expansion was announced last year. Shame because it takes away the ambiance of the park but not surprising.

I thought they would just move it

Its sad News, I don't ride this all the time but like Main Street Vehicles I do every now and then

It would be ideal to move it but that would mean redoing the track and there's probably not enough room to move the building. Space is already at a premium at CA. If you look on Google Maps, you can see that the housing for the trolley has space for 2. That wouldn't really work anywhere else. I'm sure there's also an ROI component that the trolley just doesn't bring in enough interest to invest in its maintenance and moving the housing and track somewhere else. It's a shame but this is the modern Disney way. Look at Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom.

What does it's constitution have to do with it? :tigger:
Took this from a Micechat tweet. The area in yellow is where the building for the trolley is. The construction for the new E-ticket Avengers ride is there. Now the red square would be a nice option if Disney were willing to redirect the line and move the building. I just don't see that happening since it's the backlot where the parade floats go out.

Maybe they could just park it at the BV street station, like they did the Jolly Trolley in ToonTown 🤣

It is sad but I, too, saw this coming. Plus, does it really fit in with the park anymore?
To me, it stopped being “California” Adventure when everything started moving toward Pixar. California Screamin’ became Incredicoaster, etc., etc. Little Mermaid took over that space that used to have the movie about California. Even Soarin is no longer California…which makes me so mad. They should show The World in Florida and California in California…not just for one month out of the year. It’s far superior to the stupid world version.

Now it’s just a jumbled up hodgepodge mess with no clear identity. Little bit of this…little bit of that. We definitely need a new name. Disneyland Jr.? Disneyland Lite? :rotfl2:

I like the idea of just being Pixar Park but then you’ve got Marvel in there too.
Any ideas?

The area where they hold the Trolly's at night is going to become part of the new avengers E ticket

Constitution? pirate:

Do they still do the "Suitcase and a Dream" song? I guess they'll just do it without the trolley.
