Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

I'm picturing Disney like the older sibling. They paved the way and are their families pride and joy. Lot of expectations the younger sibs don't have, but they can handle the responsibility. In my head Universal and Seaworld are chomping at the bit to impress "mom and dad". Universal is like LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME I'LL PRESENT MY AWESOME OPENING PLANS FIRST!

...Just me? :upsidedow

Also, I have seen a few people in the background of the stream walking around Springs without masks (and without food or drink), which I'm sure everyone expected to see. I just wonder if the employees/CMs are expected to stop them when they see them walking around, or if they'll just be refused entry if they try to enter any shops/restaurants without them. I haven't seen any of the yellow shirt CMs in any of the streams I've watched today.
Noticed this too. LOTS of people not wearing masks around their nose or just shoved under their chin. I don't see any CMs trying to control this. I don't see any CMs at all. My biggest concern is that there are just SO MANY highly vulnerable people here. Way more than City Walk. It's such a commonly known risk factor by those of us working with COVID, but are the media not educating the public about the risk of obesity? Obesity is a worse risk factor than smoking for COVID mortality in the US. I am very concerned about this.

And approximately 40% of the US population is considered obese...

Well... Anecdotally - our local media is still really only talking about "the elderly are the ones at risk", even though it's pretty common knowledge now that everyone is at risk. Yes, I know that the death rate is higher among the elderly, but they seem to ignore that anyone can catch it, anyone can die from it, and there can be long-term complications for anyone who does get it. Our media just acts like only the elderly should be concerned about getting it. So, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there's poor coverage/education about in places. :confused3

lol not like my kids at all but my oldest has ADHD and my youngest has never cared about impressing us 😂

I did just see a yellow shirt CM posted in front of Once Upon A Toy, so they are out!

I also noticed that the signs say "risk factors" and don't list any risk factors. Same with the disclaimers.

If they don't enforce the masks today, in a few days nobody will be wearing them. They'll just have them on to get inside and then take them off.
There was a report here on one of these rumor threads that they were reminding folks. Sounds like a soft enforcement approach. There is no way they can monitor everyone, but doing a bit of reminding will help it not become a “everyone knows to just take them off after you get through” situation. Too much reminding and people will feel hounded and watched. Balancing act.

Disney will not start going into details and listing every condition possible and every person that's at risk. You then get into a grey area by singling people out. That's a no no.

Just like their warnings on rides they will be vague but at the same time stern.

In other news, last Thursday the cancellation emails started around 10:30am ET so we are T-minus 13 hours from the start of the next round of Sadness and Disappointment :( Those are the characters at the EPCOT ImageWorks Pavillion right? It's been so long I don't remember anymore, but I'm pretty sure that's their names 🤔😬
