Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

One more thing I will say on these measures is that a month ago I may have thought these were enough.

That however was before iv seen all the steps employers have had to take to remain open during the last month. Retailers limiting 10 customers at a time, one way systems in stores, markings on floors and protective screens around the checkout areas for employees for example. That has set my expectations on social distancing.

So as I say a month ago these suggested measures may have been my expectation, but my opinion has moved on and I suspect I'm not the only one.
I agree completely. I work at a grocery store and my new normal is being screened before I start and have to wear a mask. I just can't see how we can go from that to Disney being opened with just social distancing in place within a month.

I think a lot of ppl have trips they already bought & paid for so they’ll still go even if their economic situation isn’t the best. I think the reduced crowds will come later as ppl decide not to book another trip b/c of money.
If that's the case how do they limit all of those people who rebooked at the beginning of June from coming in?

I think it could be 50 percent at any given time. Once they reach capacity at the gate for the time being, they close to new people. Not everyone is going to want to be in the park at the same time all the time. It’ll eb and flow throughout the day. Most likely resort guests will have priority due to their fixed stays.
Basically like Walmart does now lol.

I think 50% capacity at each park is still a lot of ppl.
This. I think some people are only in their minds picturing 50% of just MK or something like that. Which would still be like 50,000 people at half of max capacity. Factor in two more parks and Disney Springs, plus the amount of people who won’t be traveling because they’re international or otherwise uncomfortable going on vacation, or out of work and capacity is likely a non issue even at 50%

I know some people think that Disney and Universal's requirements will be much more strict than the guidelines put out today. I don't think they will be because I would imagine they had a lot of input into setting those guidelines.

Things are fluid and changing all the time.

These are just general guidelines. Plenty of things weren't even addressed.

Apparently these are basically the task forces suggestions which basically is disney and universal etc. The actual rules may still be much stricter (hopefully).

They will need to address that. I don’t know how but the daily morning crush of humanity at DHS due to ROTR BGs is not going to fly in this COVID environment.
Yea, dealbreaker for those who do not wake up early. I propose VQ shifts, morning, afternoon, and night shifts that you could join at different points in the day.

I agree they could change; but I also agree that "the task force basically is Disney and Universal". I don't think they would have put this out there unless this is what they are planning. Unless they are "floating" these guidelines out there to see how people react.
