Anybody know the TSA size limit on contact lens solution for carry on baggage? I am thinking it's exempt from the 3 oz rule, but would like to find out for sure. Sat on hold with TSA way too long to find out from them. Leaving a week from Saturday to go to WDW!!!

I carried a full-size bottle, but that was last year before the "water incident." Hopefully somebody has traveled with it more recently.

I would try calling the airport directly. That is what I always do when I have a question.

I did a google search, take a look at this website:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/06223/712711-37.stm

Toothpaste, perfume, shampoo, hair gel, suntan lotion, hand cream, lip gloss, contact lens solution and all similar substances.

I don't think contact lens solution is allowed to be carried on at all. It might be best just to put it in your checked luggage. Does anyone know if it's available at the resort gift shops?

You can carry the contact lens solution in the clear zip bag if it's under 3 oz. ReNu has a 2 fl.oz. size that I just took to WDW last week. No problems

Buy the 2 ounce size container and put it in a one quart, clear zip top bag with your toothpaste and other liquids.

If you are checking a bag, what I do is put the larger size bottle in a larger zip-top bag and pack it. I've never had it leak.

The tsa website is: www.tsa.gov
