Rude staff? Updates

I called back again after more convo with my husband and plans and got an absolutely wonderful person who was so very helpful and really helped us out with things. I even did a contact us on the website and complimented this staff member I spoke with in how helpful they were.

So I am not new to Disney by any means....I called tonight local time of Oahu as we live here and our first and last time we will be going to Aulani has a bad impression already.

I know I am a bit behind when it comes to dining reservations this trip has been the last thing on my mind with other things going on. I called to talk to them about what the percentage of capacity of the one sit down place I could is at and I just got rudeness. I was asking questions which if I was on the phone with the other Disney aspects I wouldn't get rudeness. It really turned me off to the point that I want to cancel my trip. I know it is silly but we were doing this for the kids and for me to say I have at least stayed there before we move back to the mainland. I even called her out saying her tone was not very Disney like. It was as if she was rushing me off the phone and didn't want to deal with me.

I ran into that during my list trip at the resort itself. It was such a off putting experience from previous years. And ya I know "covid" but I have never felt like that was an excuse for rudeness.

Sorry to hear that. On our trip to Kona & Maui in October I never ran into one rude employee at the two resorts we stayed at or any restaurants we went to, in fact it was the polar opposite with very friendly, sincere conversations and welcoming us to the islands. About the only rudeness we witnessed was rude guests. Guess I'm happy we didn't go to Aulani.
