Ok, I have had a couple of experiences where the people in front of me during a long line to a ride were doing such disgusting things that I wanted to share and to see if others have any stories of their own.

I am sure I am not the only one with a story...

1. While waiting in a long line with my son, 12 at the time, for Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach in Disney, a couple, perhaps in early 20's was in front of us. Very attractive actually. However, about mid way through the line, I notice the guy examining the back of the girl closely. First with just his eyes, then his hands. He was rubbing and checking every pore on her back for the slightest pimple, black head or imperfection (she was quite attractive and had no signs of any blemishes). She was OK with this too. At one point he finds something to pick at and he goes to town on it...I mean, he is using both thumbs to try and pop this non existing pimple with all his might...she leans on the rail to give him leverage....I am in shock. My son, kept looking away to ignore it. The people behind me are commenting on their activity. It was if there was no one around and she was letting him pick at her back! At one point, he squeezes so hard, that there is a little bleeding...at this point, I actually had said to him, "Stop! Please stop, what you are doing is so disgusting!" I am not even sure he understood me fully but they stopped. Ugh!

2. While in line for MIB at Universal Studios (line was long, and I should not even have invested my time in this out dated ride but that is another story) and this woman in front of me had a very tight braid row in the back of her head. It was done well and her hair was styled in a punkish way and have never seen it before actually. The tightness of the braid must have caused her back hair line to become itchy and she kept picking and scratching at her hair in a way that was non stop and disgusting. After doing so, she would examine her fingernails and then pick out from under her nails whatever she gathered from her hair. It was disgusting...I did not say anything but just kept a fair amount of distance!

3. Ok, last one. While at Universal Studios for Spider-Man, a woman in front of us kept banging her hand at the back of her head. At first, I thought it was a nervous tick or perhaps a physical condition that was not controllable only to find out that this was not the case. My wife said she either had a weave that was causing her discomfort or she is dealing with lice and she may not even know it. This woman was with 3 friends and they payed no attention to this activity, but she kept scratching and banging her hand against her head and all I could think of was she was full of lice. I kept a fair amount of distance and made sure we did not ride in the same car as her!

Ok...what stories do you have!

I don't understand; MIB is a fun, fabulous ride. What bad about it? Other than it being better, it's no different than Buzz (we'll just compare it to the better one at Disneyland vs the version at MK) and TSMM, but with the fun of MIB and the emergency at the end that makes winners out of kids who can still hear things that are said and who paid attention to when to hit the emergency button. :)

A middle school friend used to do that, without a braid. It's just a habit. Gross but many people do it.

I don't get how hitting the back of the neck with a hand = lice? Sounds like a nasty headache to me.

At Disneyland my son and I were in line for Peter Pan and there was a youngish man and a not-as-young-as-she-pretended-to-be woman together. It was a hot HOT day. They were squished together, no room between. He was *constantly* touching her. Rubbing her arm, rubbing her hand, rubbing her back, and so on. Just constant movement, touching her. And then SHE had a fan in her hand. Constantly waving the fan on her face and cleavage. Well gosh people. Separate a bit on this hot hot day, have the dude STOP using friction on your exposed skin, and then you wouldn't need the fan! I nearly lost my mind. I did take a video of it, but I took it inside my messaging app and sent it to DH. It's not saved in my photos, so I can't share it with anyone else (why I did it that way b/c I felt very very evil at the moment, but I was also VERY annoyed at the same time). My son was in line with me, and if one of us wants to really irritate the other they'll get too close and start rubbing an upper arm of the other person. :)

Only story I have to share is people that stand too close to me in line or that start tutting if I'm not quite fast enough at moving when the line moves. I mean really?! Both situations you're not going to get on the ride any quicker than me so back off.

Same goes for horseplay in lines. I remember at Universal two teenage boys, probably about 15. They kept standing on my toes because they were horsing around so much. In the end my fiance was just like, if you don't stop I'm going to get you kicked out of this line. They just rolled their eyes but did settle down

Or hair flickers. Long hair and they run their fingers through it and flick it all over the place. If they're behind me and stood too close, they flick it in my face. Ah! Infuriating!

When someone just farts silent and it stinks, like really bad and no one owns up but you all look at each other and thinking at the same time oh god I hope they don't think it's me so do you make a big fuss of the smell or ignore it lol

Kids with there mouths on railings or anything other than food... gross. I'm kind of a germaphobe I am constantly washing my hands or using hand sanitizer.
OMG! Yes! I am gagging just reading this thread already. We were in line for something and this kids nose was running and he's got his face all over the railing and rubbing his snot all over it, and the people down further have no idea and they put their hands there - ugh!!!!!!!!! Disgusting! :crazy2:  :faint:  :scared1:

and this leads to our least favorite queue game - Who stepped on a duck?

I have two, one not so bad, the other not so good. The first was a little boy, his sister, & mother in the line for Soarin in front of us. The boy is coughing up a lung, touching everything, the mother is saying how he has a fever (to the child) & talking about him vomiting eariler in the morning, the little girl is happily playing in line. Everytime that boy coughed all I could think of is him spreading his germs to us & getting my DD sick. I put DD behind me, told her not to touch anything, & put my back to that family so my face wouldn't be in the line of fire. The not so good: in a HOT, CROWDED, suffocating line, the woman in front of us (I'm assuming) let a deadly, silent one go. I swear it smelled like liquid, smolten, fill in the blank. And since it was hot & crowded with non moving air, it lingered, FOREVER........................................................................................................................................................

I had the SAME thing in a very long line at Great Movie Ride. They were practically molesting each other, it was so uncomfortable! I don't understand people that have to be stuck to each other all the time like that. Especially when it's hot like that.

Another one, there was a woman right behind us at BTMRR wearing her back pack in front of her instead of on her back. She then proceeded to hit me with it 100 times as she turned from side to side to look at everything in the line.

The grossest thing was actually on a bus, not in line. We watched a kid digging in his nose, deep in there, and then grab the hand rail .Yep, I don't touch the rails on the busses anymore after seeing that...lol

We were in line for Soarin in 2011. The wait was about an hour. Ten minutes into waiting this little boy I'd say about 3 years old told his parents he had to go pee. They were talking to other adults in their party and wasn't paying any attention to him. Well he pee'd all over himself and the ground. His family laughed and told him he would have to stay that way until they were done with the ride! I was shocked!!! First there is a bathroom right by Soarin. Second that's gross someone was going to have to sit in the seat he sat in after he rode. And third we were only 10 minutes into the line. Going to take the child to the bathroom wouldn't have made that big of a difference.

Ok that's so gross! I hate to think about what happens in ride seats before I sit in them!!
