Rubik's cube

My brother can too. I thought my son was a genius the other day. My dd bought a Rubik's and all the colors were the way they're supposed to be when I get done working one (all jumbled). My ds got ahold of it and the next thing I knew, he'd worked it! My dd inspected it though. He worked it the only way I'd be able to-by peeling the colors off and putting them where they go.:o:teeth:

I always changed the stickers on it. A guy that went to my school many, many years ago was on the show "That's Incredible" for being able to solve the puzzle in record time-his name was Brian Shipman.

nope, i never could. but i would trick people into thinking i could by starting with a solved puzzle, making about 5 turns that made it look all jumbled, and then just doing it in reverse.

the sticker thing was pretty obvious, which is why i liked the little keychains. they were really easy to pull apart completely and piece it back together.

My brother can do this.

It annoys me to NO END that he has this talent. He is so smart it makes me SICK! UGH!

I once bought a step by step book on how to do it.......I STILL couldn't DO IT!

I got a couple of Rubik's cube back in high school. Matter of fact, I think I still have them packed away in a box somewhere. I won't mention how old they are.

Anyways, I was able to complete the cube but only with the help of the cheat book. It still took a long time to complete it even with the book.

I was also able to complete it by actually taking the thing apart. You can pry the middle edge pieces out by using a butter knife or something. You match the corner pieces up and then pop the middle edge pieces back in and then you have a finished puzzle. Although, my poor cube got so loose after doing this so many times that it is about to fall apart. But hey, I did complete cube.

in less then a half of a minute.....he knew to much .....

I could get 2 colors but thats it...I've taken mine apart a few times..it was the 'generic' cube..:teeth:

Years ago I had a book that explained it. I eventually got it. But I'm older now....so I would need an 8 yr old to explain it to me! :teeth:

I was able to do it years ago....not sure if I could still do it now, though. :teeth:

Work it? YES

Solve it? NO

I used to try for hours and only ever got 2 colors together

Was fun trying though

When we were in High School my DH could solve it in under a minute! I, on the other hand, was always completely hopeless at it!

My kids got some at a retro store, and my daughter has 3 sides done already.. the six year old!

I remember the guy on thats Incredible as well.

Back in the day (boy do I sound old) I took stickers off and pryed it apart...
