Rubber Duckie race at WL?

When we last visited Wilderness Lodge the rec staff was having a duck race down river near the pool. Each child received a rubber duck with a number on it. All the ducks were placed in a bin and dumped at the top of the river. The kids all cheered the ducks on until one came down the quickest and was declared the winner. The winner received a free ride 30 minute pass for the Sea Raycers on Bay Lake.

Do they still do this???

Yes the duck races were there in May. Can't remember what the prize was though.

Good to hear - thanks! Has anyone seem this doing this more recently? Friends are going in December -- I'm hoping they haven't stopped it.

I was there last week and no duck races...just tag and parachute games on the beach. We were sad they did not have them. Maybe it is only on a certain day.

We were last there in May and they had them. The duck races are only on certain days. YOu can get an activity calendar for the week from the front desk. I hope they are doing them now as we are going with friends after Thanksgiving and they would enjoy it.

My daughter won the duck race in Nov. '03, but it was for and hour rental...guess they cut it back to a 1/2 hour.
