Some time ago I was over here researching for a quick trip we have planned to DLP (now just under 2 weeks away) and I was trying to sort out how to get from CDG to DLP then from DLP the next day into the city and finally back to the airport. I decided that being a rather dysfunctional family not used to traveling to Europe that private or semi-private transfers made good sense. Less to worry about. Anyway, rstransport came up as a recommended service so I booked them for all 3 transfers. They offered us a slight discount to book all 3 of them and I pre-paid for the service. At the time of booking they seemed very responsive to my emails - so I was not worried. But NOW, I am trying to reconfirm our reservations and I wanted to let them know that our plane lands earlier than it was first scheduled + I need to add a time for the 2nd pickup / transfer as I had not done that previously. Anyway, I am starting to worry. I emailed them on the 21st and got no reply so I emailed them again earlier today and still haven't heard anything.:scared:

Have there been any reports of any problems lately with them? Has anybody else ever reported being stood up (especially after pre-paying 170 or so euros)!! Am I being paranoid? I do not have global calling on my phone so I haven't called them. I didn't think I needed to since they responded so promptly back when I was making my reservation.:confused3 Thoughts??

Ive used them on two trips with no problems. Maybe wait another day or two and then ring. PM me for the numbers if you'd like. I hope you get it resolved soon :hug:
 
Do I read that it correctly that your phone isn't set up to work abroad? If so, if you need to contact the company, how would they contact you? I'd like the assurance personally!

Thanks. They answered me this morning with a 2 word reply. NOT QUITE what I was hoping for. I had asked them a couple of questions which they did not answer. :confused3 They simply said "you're confirmed". I still haven't set a pickup time for the 2nd one of the 3 transfers tho so I wanted to know what time they think they're picking us up. I emailed them right back this morning but that was several hours ago now & they have not replied to that one. Sigh.

No, our home phone here in the US does not have an international calling plan on it - never had a need for it before. If I were to call somewhere in Europe without an international plan it would cost something like $5 a minute. So far I've been able to make all of our travel arrangements by email without any problems. We plan on getting global cell phones before we go tho so I could call them once we get those. But I don't want to wait that long!! We go in less than 2 weeks now. I just don't understand why they didn't elaborate a little bit on their reply. They totally ignored most of my email. :confused3
