we are taking 16 girlscouts to disneyland this week, I can't seem to find this in the search, I heard that you can no longer hold a RSR fast pass at the same time as another fastpass, is this true? I can't seem to find any information on it, but the last time my family went we could immediatly hold two fastpasses as long as one was RSR or WOC, but I heard you now have to wait a certain time printed on your ticket??

That is true. RSR Fastpasses do count toward your limit now. A time will be printed on your Fastpass that reflects when you can get another one. I believe it is 2 hours later or your return time, whichever comes first.

WOC and now Fantasmic! Fastpasses are a little different in that they never count toward your limit.

You can get another FP if you got a RSR fastpass - usually after two hours. The only exception to this is if you want to get another RSR fastpass. I tried this last month. I had a FP for 1:40 and I came back to get another FP at the end of the night before lunch. It said I currently have a FP for this attraction and couldn't get another. After 1:40, I was able to get another FP right before the machines ran out. Whew, that was close.

Yup, unfortunately for many, it is true. Back in June 2014 Disney changed the whole FP system for RSR. Now, RSR fast passes function just as every other FP ride in the park. You can get another FP once your last FP becomes valid, or two hours after the issuance of your last FP. Also, in the past, FPs for RSR were only available until merely 1 hour until the park opens, but now, they are frequently available until 2 pm. But still arrive earlier than that if you want a chance of getting a FP, as it is always better to be safe than sorry!
Luckily the demand of Carsland has slacked a bit since opening day, but expect 90+ minute waits for RSR (standby) and you will be pretty much right on.
