Booked a room at RPR with a stay more pay less rate earlier this year for late Aug. Love what we are paying for the room BUT was wondering how much a upgrade to club level would be, or if you are even if you can purchase an upgrade with a room discount. We also joined the Lowes first program and was wondering if we could use that to help us purchase our upgrade ( if we can) more cheaply.NOT LOOKING FOR A FREEBIE , JUST A DISCOUNT.

Youfirst will not help, but usually you can upgrade at checkin for $100 + Tax

When you say $100 plus tax, is that a night? We are going for 2 nights and have been debating if it is worth it for us.

at rph (and the other hotels), a sign will be on the counter stating,
'upgrade to club level for $100/night' if rooms are available.

in past years i have seen the cost listed as less than $100 per night.
depends on the date i guess.

if no sign has been placed on the counter, ask the TM at check in.
if only a few club rooms are open during your stay, the offer may still be an option for you.

i have heard some guests report that they have paid for the usage of the club level while they are on a lower floor.
i have no idea what type of costs were involved in those cases.

You can get the stay more pay less rate for a club level room too. I would plug in your dates for your trip on the universal website and get a quote for the club level room. You can see the difference in cost from that to what you are currently paying and see if its worth it to you.

For example, our room in July for 8 nights (stay more, pay less) :

Club level, 2 queen room: $272.30 (weekend), $258.30 (weekday)
Standard, 2 queen room: $202.30 (weekend), $188.30 (weekday)

So a difference of $70 per night.

Thanks everybody:)
Going to do the upgrade, with a nine year old girl and a 16 year old boy we will probably need a little extra space- not to mention the 16 year old can snack without us having to take out a 2nd mortgage.:rotfl2:

before parry hotter came to IOA, i have seen the upgrade to club be $50 on some occassions.
but with hotter, rooms fill quickly on some dates.
