I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what brand of toiletries does RPR provide guests? I really hate lugging around shampoo and conditioner in my suitcase and I love what is offered at WDW, but I'm not sure about RPR.

Any response is appreciated! Thanks!

In Dec.2007 I got:

Bloom - [clarity.]
Sage & Thyme infusion (but it's not to brew is to wash  )

Enjoy your stay

Just an FYI about hotel shampoos and conditioners....they are not the greatest. If you color your hair, have it chemically treated in any way or heat treat it with a strightner the hotel's shampoo will strip out the color and make your hair very dry. The worst is the color stripping. So if you do any of those things, bring your own and protect your investment. I know what my highlights cost - and even though I also hate packing shampoo + conditioner I do.

I do use the shampoo to rinse the chlorine out of my bathing suits though!

Thanks for the reminders!

I hate packing shampoo and conditioner, but I always bring it with me...unless I'm heading to Disney because I do ADORE the Bath Aquatics shampoo and conditioner. My hair is au natural, btw. I just was hoping that I would have heard of, or maybe get some information from someone about the shampoos at the Universal resorts. But, I've never heard of it. Looks like I'll be bringing it along. Wish me luck in hopes of it not exploding! (Although I always put stuff like that in big ziplock bags, on TWO occasions I arrive at my destination and the shampoo is out of the ziplock bag and has exploded. :confused3 Makes me so mad! ...but, I've always had bad luck when it comes to checking bags. They're either ruined or lost, every time! )

What we started doing due to the "3 oz airline rule" is we ship our full size toiletries FedEx. The resort will hold it for you until you check in, and will ship it home when you leave. It is inexpensive and very convenient, and if you want, you can do carry-ons only. It cost about $20 or so round trip for a big box of stuff. Even if you don't do carry ons, you don;t have to worry about your liquids exploding. I pack it in a box that I lined with bubble wrap. I put all our sunscreens, shampoo/conditioner, cologne, hair products etc...AND I love the idea that you can track your package and you know it is there....

Just a thought

You can buy little empty travel size bottles at places like Walmart, Target, and some grocery stores. We always fill them to the top with our own shampoo and conditioner, and by the end of the 7 day trip we still have half a bottle of each left. Small and easy to pack, just the right size for a family of four daily shampooers. :jumping1: We put them in a ziplock bag just in case one pops open somehow. That has never happened to us, but if you're flying it's a good idea.

Of course, little boys with short hair don't use much, but still, you'll have plenty if you get 2-4 little empty bottles.

We always bring our own, so I don't really know what the shampoo and conditioner at RPR is like. Sorry.

One suggestion I CAN make though (and, I really hate to get too "personal" but I feel it's a good suggestion!) - - bring your own toilet paper. Again, don't wanna get too personal or gross, but, well, let's just say that their 1/2-ply sandpaper isn't the best. :sad2:

Nice to know I am not the only toilet paper packer out there!:rolleyes1 DH laughed at me the first time he saw me pack TP. After many years of traveling, he always asks, "Did you pack the TP?"

Told my DW the same thing about the tp but she laughed at me but when we got to the hotel in orlando last year she told me this year either pack some or we will be buying some when we get there :lmao: :lmao:

Oh gosh...we're here now...and the tp IS awful!!!!:scared:

But...the weather is perfect! Wish you were all here!:goodvibes

OK I am not the only one:lmao: I always bring a travel pack of cottenelle moist wipes. I use them at home, so we have to have them on vacation. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: They take up less room than a roll of TP too.

It's the little things in life that make us most comfortable:lmao:

Phew! After I posted that about the TP I thought "I hope they all don't think I'm a weirdo!!!!!" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
