We arrived at Royal Pacific on Thurs, Feb 27th and were told our room wasn't ready yet.In fact, it wasn't ready at check in 4pm either, but at 420 they said "our room" was finally ready! I was excited, as I have heard so many good things about this resort. The lobby was amazing and so far everything was good, other than camping out in the lobby for 45 minutes waiting for our room to be done.I hoped it was a park view after all this waiting. We insert the key, and I can see out the window that it is a park view! But wait, as my sons enter, I tell them to get out of the room, because I also see someone's cooler on the floor, the bedding messed up and I see toiletries on the bathroom counter.WONDERFUL, we wait all this time for a room and it's an occupied room.I call down to the front desk as we pile into the elevator to head down personally to get a new room. The girl finds me a new one as I approach the front desk, but have to wait in line for new keys.I was going to cut the line but didn't want to be rude.I am told they are sorry for the mixup and that my room is on the floor below, same view.I wasn't real happy at the situation and just wanted to be in the room already, after hauling all of our luggage up and down a few times. We enter the room, it is very nice.In summary, it took them til the last night to get my free Loews member gift, but I did get it and it was a great bottle of wine and nuts. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the feather pillows were awesome! The view of the park was incredible and the bathroom area is plenty big enough. The Front of the Line privilege is well worth the price of these rooms.Other than the horrible check in we had, the only negative thing I saw were stains on the wall and some needed paint in the rooms. We would stay again and the resort is huge, the walk to the parks was not long at all and was actually very pleasant and like I said the Front of the Line priviliges? I will stay at one of their resorts again, just for that alone!

Sorry to hear about the room mixup. Imagine the surprise on that person's face if they were there when you walked into the room. That is why I always put the chain on the door when we are in the room.

What room did they end up putting you in? Was it a nice view? Was it near the elevator? the pool or the walkway to the parks? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just trying to come up with some rooms to request for our trip in April.

At least it all worked out in the end.
