RPR - Requesting Upgrade

I've booked my RPR standard room with the AAA rate. My Loew's number is attached to it (regular card). Do I have to call directly and ask for an upgrade or will they automatically do that for me?

If you are Loews Blue the upgrade is given at check in, only if available. At RPR the upgrade is to a waterview from a standard. The room is exactly the same the view is different. After staying at RPR we like the standard views better since you can see the park in some.
